The syrup, used in the lemon detox is a blend of maple and palm tree syrup designed to provide a balance of minerals and trace elements. It lets the body cleanse itself naturally whilst you are on it. The fresh lemon juice provides vitamin C and potassium, and helps to dissolve mucus and waste. The cayenne pepper adds a zing to the flavour, and also provides a stimulatory heating effect, which speeds up your metabolism.
How to use the Detox Diet.
To make one glass of Natural Tree Syrup and Lemon Drink take
Two small tablespoons (or 20ml) of Madal Bal Natural Tree Syrup.
Two tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice, (about half a lemon).
Half a pinch of cayenne pepper or ground ginger (adjust to taste).
Mix the ingredients and dilute with half a pint of hot or cold water.
Drink as much as you like, ideally 6 to 9 glasses per day.
If you prefer you can prepare one batch of Natural Tree Syrup and Lemon drink to last for the whole day. For one and a half litres of water (approx 7 glasses) you will need 140ml of Madel Bal Natural Tree Syrup and 3 and a half lemons as well as the cayenne pepper or ginger.
